What we do
We help New Zealand boat owners compare marine insurance options. When you complete the quote form on this site, your details are passed to insurance brokers and insurers who can produce quotes for your specific boat. We are not the insurer and we do not issue policies — the policy is between you and the insurer you choose.
How we are paid
We receive a referral or brokerage commission from insurers or insurance brokers when a lead we pass through results in a policy being purchased. The exact amount depends on the insurer and the product. Receiving a quote through this site does not cost you anything, and the premium quoted by an insurer is the price you would pay whether you came through this site or approached the insurer directly.
